state-of-the-art 7 room Pediatric OR . We have the latest in imaging and communication technologies, allowing our teams to
operate with unprecedented precision, speed and efficiency. Every detail of the newly renovated 35,000-square foot space,
from the admitting desk to the route out of the recovery room, sets new standards in pediatric surgical care.
The Assistant Patient Care Manager (APCM) supports the Clinical Nurse Manager in the management of the OR at Lucile
Packard Children's Hospital. Her/his primary focus is supervising daily patient care and ensuring that the care meets
quality standards in a cost effective manner. In addition, the APCM aids in Human Resources management, performance
improvement, fiscal management, management of organizational change and goal setting and planning for the unit. The APCM
provides consistent and timely information feedback to the Nurse Manager. In the absence of the Clinical Nurse Manager the
APCM assumes the responsibilities of the manager.

Qualifications:
Current CA RN licence required
Current BCLS certification
At least 2 years experience in
a multispecialty OR
Pediatric experience preferred
Charge nurse or management experience preferred
