Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director/Director of Pharmacy,
provides pharmacy services to areas of responsibility assigned to the Inpatient Pharmacy. Performs appropriate related
duties as necessary.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care or
education/training about
patient care appropriate to the ages of patients served on the assigned unit(s). Possesses
the ability to assess and interpret appropriate data relative to age and to provide care needed as described in the
department's policies and procedures; demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development over the age group's
life span; and possesses an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.
This will be a
unit based position with primary responsibilities for the Neonatal, Nursery and Obstetric areas. Pharmacist will round with
the appropriate care teams.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist in State of California, Doctor of Pharmacy and
residency in hospital pharmacy desirable. Two years hospital pharmacy experience desirable.
License/Certifications:
Valid California Registered Pharmacist License
Physical Requirements::
Work is sedentary in nature, however, may be required to transport items weighing 25 pounds
or less.
