1.0 FTE (80hrs per pay period) CT Surgery Clinic at St. Agnes in Fresno.
The Physician's
Assistant evaluates and treats patients with acute and chronic complaints. Obtains complete histories and performs complete
physical exam with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new patients according to written protocols. Obtains
interval histories and performs pertinent examinations on return patients. Performs or requests and evaluates diagnostic
studies as indicated by evaluation of the patient according to written protocols. Orders and furnishes medications
according to written protocols and acquires counter-signature on prescription from attending physician. Performs designated
procedures according to written protocols
Qualifications:
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of
California required.
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
The physician
assistant must be registered with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

QUALIFICATIONS
A. Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Accreditation Review
Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc.
B. Demonstrated ability to function in
collaboration with other health care professionals.
C. Experience with endoscopic vein harvest.
